In 2009, Limelight made an exuberant move to the newly renovated Alhambra Theatre which is one of Scotland's largest stages and they have been performing annually ever since. Now playing to an audience potential of up to 1300 per night, a big move warranted a big show and Limelight did just that, presenting the wonderful 'Wizard of Oz' to a near sold out house. Limelight have since produced a vast array of shows from big hits to the lesser known but always made a dedicated point of ensuring the quality and spectacle in every production is as professional, focussed and driven as possible. A company mantra of "Seeking to bridge the gap between amatuer and professional theatre" has emboldened a reputation across the central belt of Scotland.

2013 saw a consolidation of activity with a return to mainstream amatuer theatre and the production of Annie, always a firm favourite. A secure production complete, 2014 was the next step in the Limelight story that took the company into the position of producing two shows per year. February 2014's Calendar Girls was a step away from the norm to progress Limelight's overall vision to theatre - that the company should look to present a variety of theatre for the public.

Since then, Limelight have produced a February and an October performance, with the February 2016 performance of "Grease is the Word" breaking amatuer theatre records.
